This brooch was inspired by the Tussie Mussies that were popular in Victorian times and designed by the talented goldsmith Paulien Schipper for Masterly The Hague in October 2021.
This project was challenging due to the unusual shape of the brooch. The engraved part is made of silver and the pattern represents the wheat straws in Anna Ruysch's painting.
